Seagreens has won two major awards for its Mineral Salt product - a combination of Hebridean Seaweed and Cornish Sea Salt. This is recognition Seagreens founder Simon Ranger's goal of replacing sodium chloride in maufactured food. Research carried out mainly at the Centre for Food Innovation in Sheffield, England showed that Seagreens Seaweed can replace at least 50% of the sodium chloride in manufactured food.
